John Revell was a long serving member of the Egypt Study Circle who published several articles on various aspects of Egyptian philately. One of his long term interests were the stamp booklets, on which he published two articles with Jean Boulad d'Humières in L'OP 119 (1968) & L'OP 127 (1973).

In 1997 John produced a 133 page book which in his introduction starts with The stamp booklets have been a much neglected subject. The book was hand written and therefore can not be easily electronically converted so has been presented here in picture form. The book also contains the note that This book is for private circulation to Egypt Study Circle members only: this caveat was made as much to avoid the necessity for getting IS numbers and submitting copies to the national library rather then for it to be presented as some secretive work.

The Circle is indebted to John for this work.

Note: of the 127 pages below only 126 are from John's book with one additional page (in page 28 position) indicating a page missing from the original book and eight pages from QC 90, which is found elsewhere. Therefore positions shown below are not the same as the page numbers.
